Cathy Kreutter[Ugandan Author and Publisher], is a dual citizen of USA and Uganda. She worked as a teacher librarian for 25 years reading aloud wonderful books, and now she can finally read aloud her own! Cathy’s passion is to write books in the Ugandan context that are light, humorous and give a positive image to Africa. Her books are written on two levels: entertaining for the children, and enjoyable for adults with a message for the family to share.
Cathy works closely with Ugandans illustrators, to promote the enormous talent in Uganda.

Eric Kreutter works at Cornerstone Development Africa. Among his myriad of creative hobbies, Eric is also a graphic designer. He recently had a baby boy, Leo, and lives in Kampala, Uganda with his lovely wife Dani.

Johnmary Mukiza has lived in Uganda all his life! He is a freelance multimedia artist and along with his own exhibitions in Kampala, he also works commercially illustrating.  Johnmary is also a trained Opera singer and very involved in the Kampala Music school and various musical events and plays around Uganda and the East Africa region.

Adrian Aturinda 

Adrian Aturinda is a graphic designer living and working in Kiwatule, a suburb of Kampala, Uganda. As a graduate from the Margaret Trowel School of Art and Design, he worked for a reputable print house and moved to an advertising agency where he honed his skills for close to 8 years as a concept artist, typesetter, art director, aspiring user interface and experienced designer. Andrew Jackson Obol
Born and raised in Uganda, I am a published free-lance illustrator based in Edmonton.

With a BFA in Illustration and Sequential Art from Edmonton Digital Arts College. My expertise include story-boarding, concept art and children’s book illustration.

My cartoony yet realistic style captures character and mood, ideal for story telling. In 2014 I was Artist In Residence at Happy Harbor Comics in Edmonton.

I like to read short stories especially humorous ones. I also like staying up to date with what is happening in the creative industry

Faith Kisa is a Ugandan Children's author and illustrator/cartoonist. She enjoys writing whimsical tales and designing colorful characters. Not only does she write and draw children's books, she also loves developing design based learning resources for children including animation and games.   

Her stories and drawings are inspired by her overly wild imagination and very dramatic childhood!
